Anker External Battery
For years having a phone on the verge of death was a part of my personality. Last Christmas, my beloved friend and housemate Hannah gifted me with an Anker External Battery, and all of that promptly changed! Now I'm never without a fully juiced device as I can easily charge the battery, throw it in my bag, and run out the door without ever having to worry.
This external battery is small in size but packs a hefty charge. With a single charge on the battery (6700mAh), I can bring my phone from 0% to 100% almost twice! Having used a cheap external battery before the Anker External Battery came into my lie, I never cease to be amazed by how efficiently it charges my phone. It also may seem like an obvious feature, but I love that you can use your own charger via USB port on the battery. My phone charges using a somewhat uncommon USB-C port, so if my friends need to steal some energy and can provide their own cable, I'm always happy to spread the battery wealth.
My Anker External Battery comes in handy when I'm running out of my house in a hurry with an undercharged phone, but it saves my life when I'm traveling. It easily fits into my bag, purse, or pocket! Neither planes, trains, nor automobiles will prevent me from charging my phone now that I have a handy battery on the go!
I found having an external battery to be most useful when I attended an all day music festival. I knew I would be using my phone constantly to take videos of the concert, photos of my friends, and to call the Uber to get us home at the end of the festivities. I could happily continue using my phone through the whole event without having to worry about it dying since I tucked my battery and charging cable into my cute festival fanny pack.
